Bio
I'm a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Stellenbosch University. I've been in this role since January 2019. My primary research is in the field of image analysis and machine learning.
I'm also actively involved in app development for web, iOS and Android. Primarily using technologies such as Ionic, Angular, Flutter, Firebase and AWS. Beyond this I also create Virtual Reality experiences with primarily Unity.
Lastly, I also enjoy developing some IoT (internet-of-things) applications with Raspberry Pis and microcontrollers such as the ESP32.
